Our students will enjoy two more field trips before the end of the year. 8th grade students will go to the wild adventure this Saturday. Science classes will attend the Saturday at the Sea program with FSU Marine Lab on Monday and Tuesday.
Our 8th grade families are invited to join the Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, June 2nd. the Ceremony will take place at the school cafeteria at 5:30 pm.
Parents! Please be aware that the last three days of school is early release days. There is no afterschool activities for the entire last week of school and students have to be picked up at 1:20 pm on early release days.Â
In Washington, D.C., humanitarians Clara Barton and Adolphus Solomons found the American National Red Cross, an organization established to provide humanitarian aid to victims of wars and natural disasters in congruence with the International Red Cross.
You think the day for the graduation will never come. But here we have another year has come to an end and STARS family will have another graduation ceremony. This year the City Commissioner Andrew D. Gillum will speak to our graduates on June 2nd 2010. He will give his speech at 6 pm at the school Cafeteria. Earth Day contest winners went to Fun Station all expenses paid. Students had fun with games, go karts, mini golf and laser tag. Mr. Rashupkin was in race with students. Laser tag was also fun. Posters will be at school after main library display. Keep up the good work students!
